Worship

Autel1Sunday Morning worship is held at Central Hall at 11.00am. On the first Sunday of the month this service includes Holy Communion. At the same time children and young people have the opportunity to join Breakout, which offers activities suitable for different age groups.

Sunday Evening service usually takes place at Nicolson Square and is held at 6.30pm. On the first and Sundays this includes a discussion. The second and third Sundays (and fifth, where applicable) are more traditional (with Holy Communion on the third Sunday).

Every first Wednesday of the month from October to March a service is offered in Leith YMCA Acorn Centre from 2pm. Check in the section “Calendar” for more details.

Tea and coffee are offered at the end of our services with an opportunity to meet members of the congregation.

All our buildings have disabled access and facilities and have a loop system.

Coming to our morning service you may notice a candle, please check our prayer section to learn more about our CEMC Candle for Peace.

Other acts of worship take place during the week. Details of these are published in the weekly notice sheet. For further information please call 0131 221 9029, e-mail support@edinburghmethodist.com or check the calendar.
