Book Festival Author Talks & Events

We’re delighted to be running free Author talks and events as part of our new Book Sale for Christian Aid. All are held here at the church at 25 Nicolson Sq, EH8 9BX.
The line-up for 2017 is:

Sat 13 May at 11am  
Kenny MacAskill, polititian and author of The Lockerbie Bombing: The Search for Justice 

Sat 13 May at 2pm 
Kathy Galloway, poet, writer and former Director of Christian Aid Scotland

Sun 14 May at 2pm  
Kenneth Steven, poet and author (We are grateful for funding from the Scottish Book Trust for this session.)

Mon 15 May at 1pm 
BOOKSELLERS ROUND TABLE  – What is the future for Book Shops? with Ann Landmann, Blackwells Edinburgh; Marie Moser, The Edinburgh Bookshop; Euan Tait, Waterstones West End

Tues 16 May at 1pm: Sarah Agnew, storyteller and poet

Wed 17 May at 1pm: Amanda Baker, author, poet, blogger and comedy performer

Thurs 18 May at 11am: Claire Benton-Evans, writer and author of Beastly Bible Stories for children *PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT HAS UNFORTUNATELY HAD TO BE CANCELLED*
