Christian Aid Book Sale & Festival 2019

Our 2019 Book Sale and Festival is back here at Nicolson Square and will run during Christian Aid Week from Saturday 11 May to Friday 17 May.

You can find more details on our brand-new Book Festival & Sale website.

This is one of three sales that run in Edinburgh to raise money for the work of Christian Aid, the others being at St Andrews & St George’s West on George St, and at Holy Corner. Find out more on our website. Last year, thousands of books were sold at our sale and the event raised £2500 for Christian Aid. Although hosted here, the event is run with volunteers from other Edinburgh churches.

We have lots of books so far, but (as always!) need more – a good chance to clear out your book shelves! We have two more official book collection dates (see below) but people can drop off books here at Nicolson Square at other times when the building is open.

Book Collections dates are:
Friday 12 April 1-3pm
Saturday 13 April 10.30am-12.30pm
