22 hours plus overtime / Hourly rate: £8.45
We are seeking to appoint a caretaker. The work will include upkeep and repair of the premises; working with maintenance companies; welcoming and removing people from the premises; as well as undertaking porter and cleaning duties.
A flexible approach to work and a friendly ‘can do’ attitude is essential.
The caretaker will work at between our buildings in Nicolson Square and Leith premises from time to time. The successful applicant will join a team of caretakers. The hours that the buildings are open (on a regular basis) are from 7.30am in the morning until 10pm at night so you need to be able to work within those hours. The core hours for this post will be Friday 5-10pm, Saturday 9am-12 noon, Sunday 9.30am-2.30pm and Monday 8am-5pm.
The successful applicant will have experience of caretaking duties, problem solving, working with the public and basic DIY skills.
