One of our privileges in being a church is that we can be there to share with people as they go through both the happy and the more difficult times of life. These events are obviously personal, so we would always encourage you to get in touch so we can talk in person and discuss how we can help. Please click on the links below for more information.
Our recently refurbished Grade-A listed church building is a great venue for a wedding. You are welcome to marry in church no matter what stage you are on of your faith journey, whether or not you are baptised or christened, and whether or not you go to church.
When someone is baptised, for Christians it is a celebration the love of God expressed in the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
” …. and this water symbolises baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ…” 1 Peter 3
A funeral marks the close of a life which has now completed its journey in this world. It is the opportunity for friends and family to express their grief, and to give thanks for the life of their loved one.
